Optional website measurement stays off until you allow it. Declining does not prevent you from reading the website or using its forms. Your choice applies to this browser on this website, separately from the POP application.
Necessary language and preference storage
POP_LOCALE cookie: when you choose Get started or Log in, the website’s handoff route stores your selected language (English or Canadian French) for up to one year. On pophealth.ai it is shared with the application subdomain so the sign-in page uses that language.
pop-website-privacy-v1 local storage: stores whether you allowed optional analytics, the preference version, and the time you chose. The choice expires after 180 days. This is browser storage, not a cookie, and is not a marketing subscription. Clearing storage removes the remembered choice. If your browser cannot save a choice, optional measurement stays off for the current page. We show a warning because the change may not survive a reload.
Optional analytics and performance
If you allow optional measurement, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights provide traffic and performance statistics such as page paths, referring sites, browser/device categories, country, and loading measurements. Vercel describes these tools as cookie-free. Cookie-free does not mean that no data is processed.
We do not send form answers, names, or email addresses to these tools. Website event URLs have query strings and fragments removed before sending. Optional measurement is excluded from the study and survey pages, even if you have allowed it elsewhere. Do not put personal information in a URL.

Changing or withdrawing your choice
Open Privacy settings from this page or a footer and choose Decline to stop future optional measurement. This does not undo data already sent. Global Privacy Control and an enabled Do Not Track signal keep optional measurement off, including when a previous choice allowed it.
We ask again when a choice expires or is cleared. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies and local storage. Necessary hosting and security logs may still be processed to deliver and protect the website.
